The Festlied des Männer - Gesangvereins, etc. by Otto Kuntscher was probably written for an early Sängerfest in which the men's chorus participated. It's  difficult to say if this was the first time that the club took part in a Sängerfest but it  is most certainly one of the earliest. - Peter
